Khalil Mounji is a Casablanca-based Gnawa musician, guembri player and electronic explorer. He carries the instrument as both rhythmic foundation and living memory.

As Artistic Director of the Holland Gnawa Festival and founder of Gnaoua Culture, he creates spaces where tradition is documented, transmitted and invited into new artistic conversations—without losing the source.
